Women's History Month Honors Assignment

1. Take a look at the list of women who have won Nobel prizes at this link.

2. Choose one of the women from either the physics, chemistry, or physiology or medicine list.

3. Write, in your own words, a brief biography for that person.

4. Explain what she received the Nobel Prize for.  Explain it in a way that someone who knows nothing about the field would understand.  This will require some research on your part.

5. Choose one of our core values (empathy, justice, or empowerment) and explain how this woman showed evidence of this quality in her life.
